Delhi Stories: A Journey of Discorvery

Railway Station Phagwara

A new adventure for the BJMC students at LPU began with a long train  ride, stretching across changing landscapes. The journey felt endless at times, yet it became a space for conversations, quiet thoughts, and glimpses of the world outside. The rhythmic sound of the train moving along the tracks added to the experience, creating a sense of anticipation for what lay ahead.

Upon arrival, a place to stay was waiting. At first, there was uncertainty, would it be comfortable? Would there be enough space? But stepping inside, a pleasant surprise was waiting. Spacious, cozy, and just perfect after hours of travel. The exhaustion from the journey faded a little, replaced by excitement for the days to come. A good night’s rest set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Then came the thrill of exploring Delhi. The metro system stood out instantly. Fast, efficient, and a whole new experience for some. At first, the system seemed confusing, but soon, moving around became effortless, just like the locals. Watching people come and go, each lost in their own world, made the city feel alive. Every stop brought a new sight, a new energy.

The most exciting part of the journey was stepping into the world of media. Major media houses, like News 24 Think First and The Times of India, opened their doors. Inside, buzzing newsrooms filled with energy painted a vivid picture of real journalism. The fast-paced world of news unfolded before curious eyes, showing the process of shaping stories before they reached the world. Reporters typing away, editors making quick decisions, it was all happening in real time.

Between all the planned visits, there was also time to explore the streets, taste the flavors of Delhi, and soak in the vibrant culture. The aroma of street food filled the air, specially the Chole Bhature as breakfast, each bite adding to the experience.

Every moment of the trip held something special. From early morning starts to late-night reflections, the city of Delhi gave more than just places to visit. It offered experiences, lessons, and memories that would stay forever. The journey ended, but the stories and moments gathered along the way would continue to be cherished, inspiring new adventures in the future.
