REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT LPU

It´s the 76th Republic Day in India and Lovely Professional University (LPU) celebrated this momentous occasion in a unique and grand way. The event was filled with emotions, patriotism, and strong commitment to education and national service. One of the key highlights of the celebration was the launch of the revolu-tionary initiative, "EduRevolution," by the Hon’ble Chancellor of LPU and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal.


The celebrations began with the hoisting of the Tricolor, a moment that filled the hearts of all present with immense pride. As the national flagsoared high, a soulful rendition of "Vande Mataram" resonated through the air, instilling a deep sense of patriotism among the attendees. These performances showcased India's rich cultural diversity and heritage through music, dance, and art, leaving the audience in awe.

Another significant part of the celebration was the announcement of the "Rakshak Samman Anudhan Scholarship." This scholarship is a tribute to the brave hearts of the Armed Forces and their families. It acknowledges their sacrifices and provides financial assistance to ensure that education remains accessible to their children and dependents.


It´s more than just a formal event

It reflected the university’s dedication to patriotism, education, and community service. The event reinforced the belief that education is not just about learning within classrooms but also about contributing to society and honoring the nation’s values. As the day concluded, the spirit of unity, progress, and pride echoed in the hearts of all who attended.

Madagascar is facing a serious problem. In almost all areas, people do not have enough water or electricity.  In the capital city, Antananarivo, this situation has become very hard for families. Daily life is difficult when there is no water to drink or cook with, and no power for lights, fridges, or phones. Two members of parliament, Rakotoarisoa and Raharinirina , decided to take action. To show the problem to everyone, they carried yellow buckets,  the same type many families use to collect water and entered the parliament building in an angry and rude way to complain.
